1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for standard application is pre-coated with grease on the pins. Before connection, verify the grease around the surfaces of pins, and should the amount of grease is little, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are used, the grease will likely be absorbed from the gloves.)
Illustration: When the connecting link (I) of an O-ring chain for common application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted with the roots on the pins. When the O-rings come loose because of vibration all through transport, refit the O-rings in to the roots in the pins.
In this instance, make sure to return the grease collected with the roots of your pins to your central surfaces with the pins, extra at portion A than at portions B proven from the over illustration. (Portions A is worn due to sliding with all the bushings.)
two.The chain can be most conveniently linked to the teeth of a sprocket. Engage the back links at each ends from the chain together with the sprocket teeth and match connecting pins. If the sprocket is usually moved, the chain may also be connected around the loosened side.
three. Connecting method
one.Verify that O-rings are attached towards the roots on the pins.
2.In case the amount of grease utilized over the connecting pins is small, coat the pins with grease with the central portions.
three.Insert the connecting pins to the bushings of the inner links at each ends.
4.Confirm the grease is applied on the total encounter in the O-ring, and fit the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
five.Insert the connecting pins into the connecting plate and when pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Verify whether or not the head (the end with no split) of your spring clip is turned while in the feeding path of the chain. (See the following illustration.)
6.Make sure to verify the spring clip is securely fitted during the clip grooves on the connecting pins.
This completes jointing of the connecting website link. Note that grease on the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings can be removed during set up work. In this instance, re-grease making use of the grease around the surface of the base chain or the grease within the polyethylene bag in which the connecting hyperlink was contained.
